Office XP Setup.exe causes msiexec.exe to crash immediately

I am trying to repair/reinstall Office XP. As soon as I attempt to run the
Setup.exe program I get an error message stating that msiexec.exe has failed.
I will attach the install log below. It doesn't even make it to the point
where the task log is created.

I am logged in as a local administrator. Virus scan and firewalls are
disabled. I've been attempting this for days now with no luck. Any help
would be greatly appreciated!

Here is the only log that is generated during the install.
