When trying to install Office XP SP1 i get the following
error.
Error 1328. Error Applying patch to file
C:\Config.msi\PTF4.tmp. It has probably been updated by
other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch.
Which cant be true because im trying to patch a clean
install. Id like to get these updates installed for
obvious security and stability reasons. Any help would
be great.
So far ive tried a reinstall, rebooting, sys
restore/reinstall. Everytime i get the same error, ive
also cleared the temp folders out.
Im using Windows XP PRO.
