Hi Everyone:
I have a problem that is now been plaguing me for a bit. My users run
Outlook XP and retreive their mail from an Exchange 2003 Server. Everything
was going pretty well until I applied Office XP SP3. Now what my users are
experiencing is Outlook starting to synch with Exchange and then at anywhere
from 13 - 50% Outlook will freeze and crash. If I completely remove Office
and reinstall it or upgrade it to Office 2003 things work just fine. But of
course it gets even more interesting, the first machine to show any symptoms
was actually like the 5th or 6th machine to have Office XP SP3 applied, I
ended up removing/reinstalling office and not applying SP3 on that machine.
Now come about 4 weeks later, one of the first machines to have the service
pack applied are showing the same symptoms. I have done a bunch of web
searches and the only thing I can really find is that Office XP SP3 =
problems.
Our computers are primarily Compaq Evo laptops running Windows XP Pro and
Office XP retrieving mail from a Exchange 2003 Server. None of them currently
have Windows XP SP2 installed.
Can anyone help or at least point me in the direction of some assistance?
