Wim98 machine running Office XP Standard, suddenly cannot
start any of the office applications except Outlook.
When I tried to reinstall/repair, error 1402 occured
saying that cannot read registry value.
Check MS Knowledge Base, and followed the instructions
disabling profiles, doing clean boot, running scanreg /fix
and scanreg /opt...but still the same error 1402.
Any one out here has the solutions? Thanks in advance.
