Hi Rich,
The ability to use Japanese for Input in Office 2007 is part of the features of Windows XP. In the Windows XP control panel use
Regional and Language Options=>Languages
and install the 'Supplemental language support' files, restart the PC then return to that dialog and in the Languages tab choose
[Details] and add a Japanese Keyboard input choice and the Advanced option to make it available in applications.
In Word 2007 click on help (F1) and type 'Japanese' and select the 'Enable Windows to support typing text in another language' for
additional details.
Once language support is installed and you can change keyboard layouts from the Language Bar in Word 2007 Options (Alt, T, O)
Popular section click on 'Language Settings' and enable Japanese support.
=============
I really need the software to be able to write in Japanese, (and read) but
when I downloaded the XP version it failed to install.
Any help avaliable?>>
