office xp transfer to new computer

I bought a copy of office xp at the Best Buy, and put it on a computer. My
computer died. When I tried to load my office xp software on a new
computer, I got a message saying that it was registered to another computer
(ie: my old one) andwouldn't let me register. What should I do.

Part of that error message should be a phone number for you to call Microsoft
to explain why you need to activate it again. They will help you.
