Office XP updates

I'm running Office XP on a Win XP Sp2 with all updates.

I've been trying to update the program with the latest update
KB947866-fullfile-enu.exe.

I get a message "The expected version of your product was not found on your
system".

In the past I needed to put the origial disk in the CD player which I have
done.

Still no joy.

Any help appreciated.

I figured it out. Evidentally Office Sp3 never took so I reinstalled it and
the new update installed fine.

There is no Office XP. Now you may have Windows XP, but Office will have a
year after it. 2003, 2007, etc. Please correct yourself so that you can get
help.

I'm sorry. I stand corrected. I was not aware that there was an Office XP.

In any case I've figured it out with the help of a friend.

For some reason the previous Office update didn't get installed so when I
installed that first the new update went right in.
