Office XP used with VISTA

I have a new laptop that came with VISTA. I loaded on my XP Office program,
but the excel keeps closing unexpectedly. What is the fix to make it
compatable?

Excel 2002 should work okay on Vista without any need for a
compatibility fix. Try working through the Excel troubleshooting steps
listed in http://www.cpearson.com/excel/StartupErrors.htm .
