Office xp will not uninstall

I upgraded this computer from win2k to winxp. Now I am
trying to uninstall or upgrade office xp to office 2003.
I get an error message that says unable to access
Hkey_Local_Machine\Software|Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Setup\MigrationDlls. I opened regedit and went to
this with no problems and there is nothing in the
registry at this point. Any suggestions?
