The program I am trying to run requires Windows
95/98/NT/2000/Me. I have Windows XP, how can I make it
work?

What program is it you are talking about? Reading minds is not one of this
groups' more obvious talents... although I have been accused of doing so in
the past. ;)

Having searched the archives,

I'm confused too, Milly. His subject line states 'Office XP' in which case I
cannot understand his problem either. Unless he meant 'Windows' in the
subject too.

Hi Wally,

In general, Windows based programs can run on
newer versions of Windows, but not necessarily
older ones. The version requirements often
reflect the names of those Windows versions that
existed when the program was published.

In Windows XP, if you have a problem with the
program you can try the Windows XP compatability
mode for that program.
