Office XP

Hi, Trish. Hopefully, Milly will be back soon with a reply. In the
meantime... I have never seen a retail copy of Office XP come in
anything other than a jewel case with the product key on a yellow/orange
sticker on the back of the case. If your CD came in an envelope, then
it is most likely an OEM copy. An OEM copy is only licensed for
installation on the computer that it came with, and cannot be installed
legally on any other computer.

Anyway, I was going to install this copy of Office XP on my bosses computer
at work..when I was ready to do it...we didn't have another copy for my
computer & he changed his mind because he wanted me to test it...at the time

project on the back burner...now having to order more computers...I dug this
out & thought I'd save some money by using this older copy of Office...but I
put it away haphazardly and can not find the original packaging etc...

also...I just got busy & lost the product ID & would like to know how to get
