Repairing or reinstalling Office does not normally damage your Outlook data.
Your Outlook data is in a personnel folder usually called outlook.pst
{hidden file}. To be safe just copy {not move} your *.pst files to a another
folder in your computer. For Office 2003, the hidden *.pst files are
normally located:
Documents and Settings\{your name}\local settings\application
data\Microsoft\*.pst

Or you can do a search for *.pst.
