Hi,
I am working on transitioning my company from Office 2003 to Office
2007. One of my the obstacles right now is linking Excel Objects into
Word. In Office 2003, we could copy an excel range, then paste as
special as an Excel Worksheet Object. Within that excel range, we
would also have a Chart Object. This means that the analysts could
format the cells surrounding the Chart Object in Excel and then link
the whole range (including the chart) into Word.
However, when I link them and then print to PDF, either the Chart
comes through and data/formatting in the surrounding cells, or
alternatively the cells will appear but not the chart
object.Everything is automated which includes the breaking of links
and changing the file source for the link. This means that inserting
the link as a picture or windows metafile won't accomplish the goal
either.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a work-around?
Thanks,
Mike
