Office07 Reader

We still have Office03 where I work (and won't be upgrading for a couple of
years yet). We are getting lots of outside documents in 07. Does anyone
know of a "reader" that will allow you to open an 07 file in 03?

Thanks, but still not able to open. It said it was converting, but converter
failed to save the file.

It doesn't save the file, it just opens it. It's then up to you to save
it....

You asked for a reader or converter. That is exactly what you got.
If you want to save, buy Office 2007.

Not at all. The compatibility pack allows the user to Save-As docx files.

Another alternative: you could use OpenOffice 3.x to
open .DOCX, .XLSX, etc files and save them in Office 2003 file formats.
