Office12 setup fails in VPC2007

Hi all!
On a brand new XPSP2 VPC2007 installation, Office12 (trial version)
terminates by
reporting windows system files could not be replaced by the setup. A
rollback is performed.
The logfile in the temp folder says :

Does anybody know wht's going on there?

That snipet from the log isn't very helpful. That section of the log is
showing the installation rollback after the install failure.

Are there any "value 3" entries in the log? Is the entire log small enough
to paste here?

Hi Eric,

thank you - I found an other logfile that gives much better details (german
version):
Fehler 1933. Einige geschützte Windows-Dateien konnten nicht aktualisiert
werden. SFP-Fehler: 3. Liste der geschützten
Dateien:\r\nc:\programme\gemeinsame dateien\microsoft shared\web server
extensions\40\bin\fp4autl.dll

I copied that file from the office installation souce to the bin directory
by hand, restarted setup again and it worked fine.
