I have a Canon scanner ---> Canoscan-N650U

I am using the scanner on a WindowsXP computer. Was using office XP.

When I pressed the button on the scanner, a little window opened up to a
choice of Microsoft Document Imaging or Microsoft Publisher. (I always use
Document Imaging.)

Upgraded to Office 2003. Now, when I press the button on the scanner, the
option to use Microsoft Document Imaging is gone and I can't get it back.

How do I get the Microsoft Doucment Imaging back onto the choices?

Check with Canon to see if they have an updated driver.

Oh, one more thing. Did you install the Canoscan software as well? I use
this scanner and it shows in my options.

Never did install the Canoscan software - never seemed to need it.

Also, I did check the Canon website - the driver I have is the latest

Somehow, the installation of Office2003 deleted MSFT imaging/scanner from
registered progams that come up when I press the button on the scanner.

So, what I would like is to find a way to get the imaging/scanner back as a
registered program that comes up in that little window when I press the
button on the scanner.
