office2003: Manage multiple files and extensions from a folder: e.

I've a mixture of files from different sources stored in a folder. I would
like to make a file liststored in this folder, select some files to be
printed containing it's file name either as title or footer. Is there any
automatisation possible or do i have to create a DB with OLE and use the
report view? What happened to the Office Binder, is any replacement for it?
