Try upgrading your bios... The problem stems from the fact that Windows XP
has issues with reading large chunks into memory (see article http://www.
smartcomputing.com/editorial/article.asp?
article=articles/2004/s1509/55s09/55s09.asp&articleid=21055&guid=). I
upgraded my bios and it fixed this issue. Also, in the bios-upgrade readme.
txt file it stated that there was an update to allow better front side bus
support.
