Office2k pro crash on win2k

Hello all,

I have a bit of a problem and need some help.
My PC runs win2k pro, I installed office2k on it but all
office programs crash when i try to open a proram.
I was thinking it might be an OS problem, I removed all
programs including office2k.
Now that my PC has just the OS I installed office97 just
for a test and I need not ahve any problem at all opening
any off the program or files associated to office. I
upgraded to office2k and the old crash problem start again.

I have tried all the diagnostics provided by the MVP and
yet can't word or any application to start.

I'm thinking its might be a problem with office2k rather
than the OS but not sure if it is.

Can anyone tell me this is Os issue or its a problem with
office2k.

Note: all additional hardware has beeen reomeve.

your help is much needed.

Well if none of the Office 2000 applications will open, it is more likely to
be the OS. Although they is much commonality and integration in Office, the
applications are still independent.

Do any other applications run on the computer?
