officefix vs. Office

Andrew

I got angry when I found out I had to spend money to repair my corrupt office
files - excel and access - just so you know you may have to do just that. I
found out there is an entire market dedicated to repairing office files! I
tried a few including excelrecovery, excel repair and officefix. I can save
you some time, excel repair is no good, excel recovery works ok on some files
although the site does not look very trustworthy, and officefix is definitely
in a different league. Their demo at least restored all my files as far as I
could see. So someone please tell me why I ended up paying as much for
officefix as i did for office! The fix was a better spend in my opinion.

This is a user to user group, what exactly did you do to your computer
to corrupt all your files? Perhaps you can share the information so
other users will not corrupt their files in the same way.

I wish I knew. I don't know. I guess it I have "stable" microsoft
products to thank.

Bob I

That's humorous, perhaps you're using a set of "stable" microsoft
products the rest of us millions of users don't have.

Oh Bob! you think Microsoft products are stable? That must be why there
are dozens of products out there to restore your office data, repair
files, restore lost files ... Yeah it must be the stability of Office
that makes me have to pay 300 bucks to restore corrupt Office files.
You might find it humorous .... I don't. Do you work for Microsoft?

B

Bob I

Nope, don't work for Microsoft. No, it's your mind set that I find
humorous. Look around, there are "file recovery software" for almost any
imaginable file problem a user can create. No, I think we need to review
the situation as to where the instability lies.
