officelifeboathang error when opening from ProjectServer database

I receive the following error when trying to open a project schedule with MS
Project 2007 from MS ProjectServer database:

P1 winproj.exe
P2 12.0.4518.1014
P3 ntdll.dll
P4 5.1.2600.2180

I can see from a search of both Microsoft and Google that this is a common
problem among other office 2007 applications, but there is no post for this
error in MS Project. How do we get past it as it is posing a huge problem in
my ability to work.
