Hi

I wish to take MS Office Specialist exams. I currently have OfficePro2000
installed. My test centre can only provide testing, courseware and support
for OfficeProXP. I will upgrade to 2003 after I have completed the exams,
so don't want to pay for XP upgrade now. MS site no longer offers
OfficeProXP Trial version. Is it still available elsewhere? I am in U.K.

No, the trial version of Office XP is no longer available. You can
download a trial version of Office 2003 from
http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/default.mspx . The menus in
Office 2003 are almost identical to those in Office XP, except that a
few extra choices have been added to allow for Reading Layout view, more
track changes options, Help menu options, and maybe one or two other
things that I can't think of at the moment.
