OfficeXP won't install

S

Sover

I have a new installed WindowsXP (licenced OEM version)
but I was not able to install OfficeXP (licenced OEM
version).

The message I got from the Windows Installer was :

"Error opening installation log file. Verify that the
specified log file location exists and is writable."

Does anyone know what's wrong? Could it be that my
WindowsXP was incorrectly installed?

Thanks in advance.

Sover,
Since your Windows OS and Office XP are oem, installed by the manufacturer, you need to (contact or take back to) them for problems with Office installation.
Your assumption is possibly correct...
