Offline Global address list

Hi their,

I re-created my profile and now I cannot see the global address list when
offline anymore. I have already ticked the box "download offline address
book" but when I pull out the network cable I cannot view the GAL.

How long does Outlook take to synchronise the GAL to the ost file? Im on a
100mb LAN so Im sure it has nothing to do with speed.
