Hey there All,
I’m working with:
Server 2003 SBS Standard sp1
Windows XP Pro sp2
Office 2003 Business sp2
Each domain user is standard domain user on network, and local administrator
to workstation. New server setup for 10 user network. It used to be Peer2peer
with no server.
After setting up Offline files for Exchange03, when the Send/Receive button
is pressed while online, I get the following error: "Microsoft Exchange
Server Reported error (0x80070005). You don’t have appropriate permission to
perform the operation."
When I go to TOOLS/DEFINE SEND-RECEIVE GROUPS/ALL ACCOUNTS/EDIT, I have to
keep rechecking the mailbox folders that I want and sometimes recreate the
ost file if I exit and restart Outlook03.
The file synchronization seems to never take place.
This happens on all our laptops after attempting setup for offline folders,
so I probably did something wrong.
POP/Smtp eMail comes from external source, and Exchange is setup 2nd ( only
used for email backup and shared contacts and calendar, under outlook email
accounts. Mailbox is used, not pst files.
..
Any suggestions folks? Thanks!!!!!
