Uninstall and reinstall Office and try again.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

| I have tried to install the SP1 for my Office 2003 pro version but it
| just doesn´t work. As soon as the install-procedure looks for
| pro11.msi and accesses the file, the following text appears: "Dieses
| Update konnte nicht angewendet werden" - something like this update
| could not be applied. that is ... I have tried both versions of SP1 ,
| the small one (about 24 mb and the big one). Both cause the same
| problem.
