I use Outlook 2000. Recently I changed ISP's, and changed all but one
of my accounts. Most of my email is work-related, and so the default
account is my business address. However, there's a second address
that I want to use for most personal and family correspondence. I
also have an account for mailing lists and non-Usenet discussion
groups, the master account at my new ISP, and finally one for Usenet.
With my old ISP, the two accounts I use most often to send were right
at the top of the Send menu, but not any more.
The work address is the first default, which is fine. But the one I
want to use the rest of the time is the fourth account listed under
"Send".
My question, is there any way to change the default order of the
accounts, when I'm sending email?
Under Tools / Accounts, the accounts are displayed alphabetically.
But I think the order that I see when I try to Send is the order in
which that the accounts were created.
Is there any way of rearranging this order? Short of editing the
Registry, or by deleting some of the accounts and then recreating
them.
