I recently installed Microsoft Office 2002 XP on a Vista laptop (I know.
Shame on me.) I have several email accounts that I can manually receive
email (I have to do it twice, once to give it the password and once to make
it happen), but I have set up the accounts to auto send/receive every few
minutes. I have no problem with email sending immediately, but it won't auto
receive or remember my passwords. This is my first post so I apologize if I
am missing info here.

Outlook 2002 is not compatible with Vista and cannot remember passwords on
that platform because the password storage mechanism has changed in the
operating system. It most likely will never be fixed.
