OL 2002 won't let me change default

Using XP Pro, MS OL 2002

I have 4 accounts set up
OL will not let me move accounts up/down.
OL will not let me change the default account.
OL when sending won't let me change the Account (error Could not complete
operation, a fatal error has occured)
OL when I hit the send button on a new email it spell checks it and just
sits there I hit the send button 100 times and won't go anywhere.

Others on the same computer are not having any trouble, do all users use the
same application (exe program)?
I've deleted all accounts and recreated, oh let say 10 times at least.

Any help with any of this?

tr recreating the accounts one at a time from scratch.

I had tried that, thanks. Still not working.
Do all users on same machine share the same OL application?
Other users (wife/daughter) are not having same problems as I can see.
What is the name of the application , I can't seem to find it?
What is the oath to the application (well I can search for it if I know the
name)?
