OL 2007 'Unknown Error 8s80040154'

R

Runaround

I'm back - I initially reported (06/23/08), " have begun to receive the
error message, "Receiving' reported error (0x80040154): 'Unknown Error
8s80040154'. And I cannot receive e-mails into my Outlook 2007.

n response to that post, Hal suggested to reboot and run "regsvr32
inetcomm.dll". That did not resolve the issue.

When I inquired (on 06/26/08) whether I could re-install OL '07 over the
current installation or did I need to uninstall the enitre office suite and
reinstall? Russ Valentine [MVP -Outlook] responded, "I've never seen a
single problem that reinstalling Outlook would solve. What makes you imagine
you want to? You can certainly do it if you want to waste your time."

So now my question is, if I am not to reinstall, what can I do to get my OL
back up and running?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Presumably you've run Office Diagnostics, from the Help menu?
