OL Express - Virus & Disappearing message?

I received a suspicious e-mail, one with a subject
consistent with the Sobig.F virus. I did not open it. I
deleted it from my Inbox. But when I went to delete it
from my deleted files folder, it was not there.
Call me suspicious, but I want to be careful. Anyhting I
need to worry about?

Do you have good AV software that scans mail? That, and your own excellent
sense of skepticism. will protect you from much - keep both updated
regularly.
