OL2000 closing when replying and pressing enter key

Hi,

Over the past two weeks I have started having a problem
with Outlook 2000 (on Win2kpro system) - PST file is at
20meg - regularly compacted - However, on an occasional
email, when I hit reply and then add my comments and hit
the enter key, Outlook, ungracefully, errors out and
closes. the error message only says "unexpected error,
Outlook will now close" with an Okay button, although that
dialog remains until the OK is clicked; Outlook has
already closed. No problems restarting (with all changes
lost, etc) - does anyone have any ideas on what might be
happening here???

Have you tried running the Inbox Repair Tool (SCANPST.EXE) against your .PST
file?
