OL2000 (IMO mode) how to share contacts between three accounts on WinXp

P

Paul E. Gruendler

I am running Windows Xp Professional and Outlook 2000 (IMO mode)
There are three people using the machine each with an own account.

Because we have certain contacts in common I would like to share part of the
contacts (for easier updates). Other contacts should be for personal use
only.

Is there a posibility to do this without having an EXCHANGE Server?

Kind regards Paul

You might want to create a separate .PST file that is in a folder accessible
to all users of that machine, and put the shared contacts there. Each user
can open that .PST file in his or her folder list via File | Open | Personal
Folders File.

Hi Jocelyn

Thank you for your help. I tried to create a new .PST file. but it contains
more folders than contacts (deletet Items). Is it possible to create a .PST
witch contains contacts only?

Kind Regards Paul

No...certain folders, such as Deleted Items, will always be created. You
can't delete them nor prevent their creation.
