[OL2000] Reply address problem, one to baffle the guru's

Hi there,

Since a few days I have this very strange problem with OL2000 on *two*
computers.

My setup is as follows:
- my email domain is abc.com, so my emailaddress would be for example
(e-mail address removed)
- A mailserver, of which I am the administrator has an internal domain
called abc2.com (I can't name it abc.com also because the mails are not
routed to this mailserver; I just use it to POP all my mails from
several accounts and have some extra functionality)

My Oulook client has the following conenction details:
- email address = (e-mail address removed)
- reply-to = (e-mail address removed)
- POP server = pop.abc.com
- SMTP server = smtp.myprovider.com
- POP account login = (e-mail address removed)
- passwd = thepassword

Now, it didn't use to be like that. Before, I just had a local
mailserver running with a similar setup but because I was fed up
running a local mailserver I moved everything to an other one.

Anyway, now the problem. I can send mails from both clients, no
problem. But when I receive an email, be it a replky to one of mine or
a new email from someone else, I can not always reply to it. Let me
explain further. Sometime, the reply box (when I reply to a mail) is
empty. That is, there is nothing in it. I have to manually select the
email address from the reply text or from the addressbook. I don't have
to go into details of how much of a pain in th b*tt this is :)

Now, the real thing I did was, I changed an existing account in Outlook
to the new values.
Now, I've already tried to create a new account, I've done the detect
and repair, I've installed SP3 for office 2000 and I've done the
cursing. But all to no avail.

Anyone has an idea? All help is very much appreciated because for me
this glitch is a pain but my computer-almost-illiterate girlfriend is
planning an attack on me one of these days :)

BB
Peter
