OL2003 Form Question

I'm using 2002 now and just ordered a couple copies of 2003 so I've been
reading up on the new features. I have one question that isn't addressed in
the articles I'm reading. In my Contacts folder I've used several forms over
the years. It seems like I am stuck with each of these forms for those
records that were created when that particular form was my default Contact
form. In OL2003 I'd like to create the perfect contact form (one with the
simple field for a phone extension would be a good start) and then apply
that form to all of my existing Contacts. In other words, I want to
overwrite my old forms with the new one. Is this possible in 2003? Thanks.

Sure, that's possible in any version of Outlook. Just change the MessageClass property to point to your new form. See http://www.slipstick.com/dev/newdefaultform.htm#convert for several tools and scripts to accomplish this easily.

FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for Outlook forms issues -- microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms.
