OL2010 "Stop Processing Rules" generates error dialog box

P

ParrotSquawk

When I run some or all of my many rules (most with Stop Processing
Rules,) I get a dialog box that pops up and tells me that my rule has
an error...yet you cannot create a rule in 2010 without the stop
processing box automatically getting checked (and it cannot be
unchecked!)

Does anyone have a work-around to this ?

Are you sure that is the error and not the other condition in the rule?

Stop processing just tells outlook to stop processing the current
message when it matches the condition in the rule. Without that setting,
each message is checked by each rule, which can result in duplicated
messages.
