OL2K3 crashes searching for email address

Hi Our CEO uses Outlook 2003 connected to our SBS2003 server through a VPN
connection, all works OK until he tries to find an email address by typing
the first character(s) and then using the <Ctrl>K key sequence to find the
address, at this point Outlook just crashes out. Just for info the rest of
Office on the PC is 2000 Pro

Any ideas anyone?
