OLAP Cube problems

E

Eric

I am currently unable to get anyone to access the OLAP cube in my Project
Server setup. I can build the cube, with errors, but it still works. I've
tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to work. Any help would
be arrpreicated. My setup is below. Thanks in advance!!

Server 1:
Windows 2003 (Virtual Server)
DSO (SP3)
WSS (using WMSDE)
Project Server 2003

OLAPAdmin account (Active directory Domain account) in the OLAP
Admininstrators and Administrators group.

Server 2:
Windows 2000
SQL Server 2000 SP3
Analysis Server SP3

OLAPAdmin account (Active Directory domain account) in the OLAP
Admininstrators and Administrators group. Users that need to access the
OLAP cube are also in the OLAP Administrators group.

OLAP Administrators account in the cube roles on my OLAP Cube.

Please help!!

It seems that you forget to add permission for everyone to
access OLAP cube???

Open Analysis Manager, right click on OLAP cube, choose
Manage Roles, in Database Role Manager, click New to add
Role.
- In tab Membership, click Add to add groups or users
access OLAP cube
- In tab Cubes, check cube you want to access. Check all
for sure.

Good luck!!!

Actually, I do have users already on my cubes. I took the people that i
wanted to be able to access the cube and put them in the OLAP Administrators
group on the SQL Server.

The OLAP Administrators group is then in a ROLE on the cubes in Analysis
Server.

So, in theory, the people that are in the OLAP Administrators group on the
SQL Server should be able to access the cube no problem.

Thanks for the tip though.....any one else got any suggegstions??
