OLAP Cube view permissions

PatAdmin

I am running project server 2002 SP1 on a windows 2000 server. My scheduling
manager created a view that relies on the OLAP cube to populate it. He is
able to see the data. He has given one of his team mates administrator
permissions under groups and catagories and allow for everything under
catagories in project. The user is unable to see the data unless I put her
into the OLAP administrators group. I am concerned about doing that since she
could kick off a build of the cube if she knew how to do so. Is there any
other permissions that could be set that have lesser abilities and still
allow the data to be displayed?

Patrick:

The user could be added to the Executives group which will give her access
to the OLAP data and not give her permission to build the cube. You also
need to add your users to cube roles or to a global group that has been
added to a cube role and has access to the cube data.
