OLAP not working in Cube Build Settings

Hello,

I am seeing an issue in PS 2007 (IU update) with the OLAP cube building
overnight. I have set this up to run via the Build Settings, yet it is not
working. The process does work though if I manually run it. (and without
errors)

The company I am at has multiple Project Server instances in place, and I
have compared the settings for the PWA site that is not working with one that
is, and they are identical with the exception of the actual time I am
scheduling it to proccess, the Analysis Server name, and the db to be created
name. Although I am familiar with the front-end (PWA), I am not as familiar
wth the server end. Is there anything in the backend that could be
preventing this instance from automatically running the cube build?

One thing to note is that this process did work at one point. Although the
PWA site in question is fairly new and has little data, when it was
originally setup, I had set up the OLAP to run overnight, and it did.

You should check the Project Server Scheduling Service, and also the WSS
timer jobs. I have either one of these stopped that might casue this
problem. Restarting these services should clear this problem up or just
reboot the server.

Ray, thanks for the feedback. Resetting the services did not work, but I am
going to give the reboot a try this evening. Hopefully that does the trick.

WDR:

Have you checked the health of the service account you're using? Do you see
any event log errors or anything in ULS logs?
