OLAP Personalized View files

Hello,

I want to delete and recreate the OLAP cube.
Before doing this however, I was told to do a backup of certain temp files
(which contain the personalized views created by users in the portfolio
analyzer).
And once the cube has been rebuilt, I should restore these files.

Where can I find these supposed temp files? In the Analysis Services? I
don't know where they are!

Hi Angel,

You can delete the OLAP Cube without effecting the personalized Portfolio
views. Project Server actually deletes the cubes autmatically each time it
rebuilds the cube.

The only thing you will need to keep is the Connection name which you
specify in the PWA Admin tab.

Should you ever rename the connection to the OLAP cube in the PWA Admin tab
the personilzed views will break.

We have done this many times without ever backing up some temp files.
