OLAP Values are Wrong

Hi guys,

I saw some other posts on this topic but no answers. I am running
into some discrepancies between the OLAP cube data and the project
plans/resource /project views in MOPS 2007. For example, if I open
resource A in the resource center and select Project 1 and view the
actual work in December, I can see Resource A worked 50 hrs on Project
1 in December.

When I open the data analysis view (either in PWA or Excel) and select
Resource A's time in December for Project 1 it shows me 62 hrs of
actual work.

No clue what is causing this, but it seems like something that might
be related to how the OLAP cube defines time periods? Other than that
no clue.

Please help!

Hi Bryan,

I'd do three things to narrow down the problem.

1. Re-publish the project and check it publishes successfully.
2. Re-build the cube
3. View the data on a daily basis, both within the cube view and within
Project. If there are disceprencies for December, then this should show it.

Worked perfectly! I thought it had done this since the cube is
scheduled to be built Tuesday morning but it must not have. I'll
double check that but thanks for your help Ben!

You're welcome. BTW, some of my Customer's check the cube build process has
been successful each morning...
