Old deleted messages spontaneously re-sent

We have a Exchange 5.5 server, user is on O2K. 3 of one
user's messages that were sent approx 6 monhs to 1 year
ago were re-sent...they had been deleted out of sent
folder. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
