I have cleaned up my email after a week away, but copies
of the old emails continue to stream in! I'm not getting
new emails - perhaps because outlook is always busy with
the old ones.
A number of these are deleted immediately as they come in
due to viruses. The virus vault shows recent deletions of
files with the names updates.ser, readme.com,
document.exe, information.cpl, details.ser, message.com,
and document.com.
I have updated my AVG virus software and ran it, but it
was not able to access the file:
C:\WINDOWS\Application_Data\Microsoft\OUTLOOK\OUTCMD.DAT.
I ran the "detect and repair" tool in outlook, and emptied
the "deleted items" box.
Any ideas what is happening here? I appreciate your taking
the time to consider this. Thanks.
