Old emails transferred to new computer do not show up

I have spent all day and still cannot get my emails (in several folders) from
my old computer to my new computer. I have done everything instructed
(saving the email file on old computer, transferring to new computer via
Intellimover since it is too large for a CD and old computer does not have a
DVD writer and I cannot email the file even with cable internet as I get an
"operation failed" message when I try to attach the .pst file to an email to
send to new computer). With Intellimover (USB connection) the smallest
folder I can select to transfer is "My Documents" and I did save the .pst
file deep in that folder. The .pst file does show up on my new computer and
when I go through the steps to open it in my Outlook emails they simply are
not there.

If anybody can help, it would be greatly appreciated so I can get on with
life here!

Well Outlook isn't your issue here but transfering the file. If you can't
get a network up you can use other methods like compressing and/or splitting
the file before burning it to CD. Compressing tools like WinZIP and WinRAR
will also allow you to split the file so you can burn multiple CD's.

Thanks for the reply but I was able to transfer the .pst file (which should
have all the Outlook emails from old computer) to the new computer via
Intellimover. I do find the .pst file on the new computer but when I follow
all the Microsoft Outlook instructions to open it the emails do not show up
on the new computer's Outlook. I am following the instructions but the
emails do not come into the Outlook mail file.

Any ideas?
