Old MSdos Printing Problem

I have an old Windows 3.1 program called Legato - (no longer supported by
anybody). It is essentially a WP, Spreadsheet and Database program and it
works fine on XP. If I use the program on any machine that has Office 2003
installed it refuses to print. It says there is a General Protection Fault
in User.exe. I would like both programs to coexist. Does anyone know how I
might achieve this?

There are no guarantees that DOS programs will still work. If the company
that developed it no longer supports it or is no longer in business, it's
time to find a replacement application.
