Old Office XP Install

I just bought a new computer with Windows XP Home Edition 2002. I want to
load my Office XP Standard 2002 that I had on the old computer, but my disc
is for an Office Upgrade so it won't install. Apparently I need the original
Office, before I can use this upgrade. I do not have the original disc. Is
there a way to get my Office program off the old computer onto the new
computer? Thanks in advance for your help.

I think I solved my own problem. I copied Office files from the old computer
to the new one, then inserted to disc. I was then able to run the setup.

As you stated, if you do not have the original Office disc that
qualified you to upgrade to Office XP, you are, unfortunately, out of
luck. Consider upgrading to Office 2007.
