Old version of visio

I have a new visio *.vsm file that is from 2003 or 2002
that I cannot read on visio 5.0 standard. Is there any way
that it can be converted to run on the older version?

Correction-Its a *.vsd file!

Unfortunately the backward compatibility assumes a two step process. V2003
to V2000 and then V2000 to V5.
