Does anyone know why are there only 3 OLE DB providers listed under
data link properties? I have installed the latest MDAC and even the
ORACLE OLE DB drivers. All of the OLE DB providers show up just fine
when creating a .udl file, so I think they are installed correctly.
I even tried to get Access to open the .udl file and got the
following:
This connection file refers to a provider not supported by data access
pages.
Please select a different connection file.
(Even though it prompted me to login to the database!!!)
Is there a way to get Access to use additional OLE providers?
