I have been thru a bunch of KB articles and tried re-registering the
specified files but I still end up with this error when I try to create a
Data Access Page:
This error can appear if an attempt is made to save a form or a report as a
data access page in an Access project (ADP) file and a combo box or list box
control on the form or report has a RowSource property set to the name of a
table, view, or function.
Set the RowSource property of the control to the name of a stored procedure
or an SQL SELECT statement that selects only the proper field(s).
We have a VLK and since I AM the IT department, I have never seen this error
and have just about run out of ideas.
The really irritating thing is that it only does that on my machine. The one
I NEED it to work on. all the other workstations work just fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.I have even tried uninstalling and
reinstalling teh product to no avail.
Office 2003 Pro with SP1 running on Windows XP Pro with SP2. It was doing
this before I updated all the systems to SP2 and Office SP1 and again, on all
the other workstations it will work fine but I need it to work on mine.
